PC Electricals a finalist in the Western Gazette Business Awards

Posted on

This week the Western Gazette announced their official shortlist for the Business Awards 2016. A full shortlist is available on their website http://www.digital-thisis.co.uk/somerset/businessawards/finalists/

The Western Gazette Business Awards highlight the strengths and achievements of commercial ventures in south Somerset and west Dorset. They believe the entrepreneurial talent in this area is worth shouting about.

As a new start-up company having recently celebrated our second birthday in April, PC Electricals entered the category ‘Young Business of the Year’ and are shocked to have been selected as finalists. Final selections will be taking place shortly but the judges will be interested in how the business has increased its profitability, the age of such the business will be considered against its financial performance. The judges would also like to know how the business has overcome the challenges of being run by a sole trader and how it is striving to meet their high standards.

Paul Chidley, owner of PC Electricals said “Wow! This is the second time we have entered local awards on the off-chance and the second time we are honored to be finalists! We are grateful to our loyal customers, the Western Gazette and the sponsors for selecting us as a finalist. Thank you very much and we look forward to the ceremony.”

This year, the awards are being held at The Gateway on Thursday, July 25th, 2016, and promise to build on last year’s successful event.
